How to use the responses
Start with the mix of travel modes and journey times, then read the obstacles against them: a car driver stuck in traffic and a bus rider facing a missed connection need different fixes. The ranking shows which change would help the most people, and the written answers from people who dread their trip tell you what the numbers miss. Share a short summary back so people see their answers led somewhere.
How to customize and share it
- 1Rename the options in the ranking to changes you could actually make, and remove any that are off the table.

Should I ask for a home address in a commuting survey?
Usually not. A town or postcode district is enough to spot clusters for car sharing or a shuttle route, and people answer more honestly when they are not asked for a street.
Can I make the commuting survey anonymous?
