A little guidance
Make the most of your next ask.
Write the main action at the top of your design file and check every draft against it; if the button isn't the obvious next step, the layout needs work. Plan time for copy when the client asked you to write or edit it. Build and test in the platform they named, and use the must-haves list as your checklist before you send the proof.
The type of email, who receives it, the one action it should drive, where the button links, who writes the copy, brand files, the sending platform and the send date.
The audience and the main action. Layout, imagery and length follow from those, and without them the design turns into guesswork.
Each platform handles layout and editing a little differently. Knowing it up front means the design is built and tested where it will actually be sent.
