Questions to consider
- Are all four results equally nice to get? A shareable quiz works when nobody feels embarrassed by their outcome.
- Does each scenario have one answer for every friend type, so the scoring stays fair?
- Will you post this on social media, send it in a newsletter or run it at an event?
How to use the responses
Check the split across the four results after the first day. If one friend type rarely comes up, one of its answers in each question is probably less appealing than the others, so reword it. If you run the quiz for a brand, the most common result is a friendly hook for your next post.
How to customize and share it
- 1Pick your own four types, then rewrite each scenario so every option matches one type, scored from zero to three in the same order.
- 2Keep the bands spaced evenly if you add questions, and test each result by answering with one type all the way through.
- 3Share the link where your audience already talks, and invite people to send it on to the friend they named.
Frequently asked questions
What makes a quiz shareable?
A clear theme, quick questions and a result people are happy to show off. Every outcome should feel like a compliment.
How does this quiz choose a friend type?
Each answer is worth zero to three points on a scale from calm to spontaneous. The total falls into one of four bands, and each band has its own result.
Can I change the friend types?
Yes. Rename the four results and rewrite the answers so each one still points to a single type, then test each result.
